Responsibilities/Role : We are broadening our team to include a Backend Developer with strong experience in Java and a solid background in database management and operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in both relational and non-relational databases, and preferably some exposure to cloud-based data services in Azure, including Azure Data Explorer (ADX). This role involves not only backend development but also database architecture. You will also support junior developers, provide technical guidance, and actively participate in architecture and requirement analysis discussions. About you : Develop and maintain backend services using Java (8/17) Design and manage relational and non-relational database systems Perform database operations and administration tasks, especially with PostgreSQL Work with Azure Data Explorer (ADX) and other Azure services Collaborate with customer engineering teams and participate in project meetings Analyze technical requirements and contribute to software architecture decisions Mentor and support less experienced developers on the team Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code Must-Have Skills Proficiency in Java (version 8 or 17) Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) Experience with non-relational databases Database operations and administration experience Familiarity with Azure Data Explorer (ADX) Excellent communication and team collaboration skills About GlobalLogic: GlobalLogic is a Hitachi Group Company, leader in digital engineering.
