Job Description Job Title: Graphic Designer Reports To: Managing Director Salary Scale: £28,000 Location: Office & Site based / Hybrid (Holywell, North Wales & North West England) Hours: 40hrs per week (flexible working) About us Cyd Innovation, established in early 2021, addresses local social and environmental issues, focusing on poverty, health inequalities, and climate change in Wales and across the UK. We operate in high-impact sectors like net zero housing, collaborating with organisations and communities to maximize social, economic, and environmental benefits. We’re focused on supporting Welsh social housing providers to achieve their net zero ambitions by clarifying a retrofit delivery pathway and supporting them in establishing value for money, social value focused supply chains. Job purpose This is an exciting opportunity to join Cyd Innovation as a Graphic Designer you will deliver high-quality visual content that supports brand development and enhances our internal and external communications. Working closely with the Sales & Marketing, Operations, and Sustainability & Social Value teams, you’ll create engaging assets across digital and print platforms that capture attention, support campaigns, and reflect Cyd Innovation’s values and visual identity. Key Responsibilities Design creative, high-quality visual assets for print and digital use (e.g. social media, website, brochures, presentations) Create brand-aligned materials that reflect Cyd Innovation’s mission and visual style Collaborate with internal teams to understand briefs and deliver work to spec and on time Support campaign launches with visually engaging designs and concepts Develop infographics, illustrations, and custom icons to support data storytelling Assist with basic web and UX design tasks as needed Prepare artwork for print and liaise with suppliers when required Maintain and organise our design asset library and templates Contribute to the evolution of our visual identity and creative direction Participate in creative brainstorms and idea generation sessions Help strengthen internal communications through consistent visual messaging Essential skills, experience and qualifications A relevant design qualification or degree (or equivalent) A portfolio that showcases your creative skills and design capability Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign An interest in creative or marketing projects A strong eye for detail and creativity Good communication and organisational skills Ability to take feedback constructively and iterate on designs A team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude An appreciation of equality, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace Desirable skills, experience and qualification An interest in or basic understanding of UX/UI design Experience with branding, responsive layout design, or digital tools Familiarity with accessibility best practices in design Experience working with or creating design systems and templates A passion for visual storytelling Welsh language skills (written and spoken) preferred Cyd Benefits Package Competitive salary.
