Management Accountant

A well-established and award-winning manufacturer is seeking a Senior Management Accountant to support its UK manufacturing operations. This role is ideal for a qualified finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams to improve financial performance and efficiency. About the Role You'll be responsible for leading a small team and partnering with key departments to provide financial insight and support. The focus will be on cost control, stock management, and margin analysis, with a strong emphasis on collaboration across the business. Key Responsibilities Lead and support a team of two management accountants. Oversee financial reporting and management accounts for multiple business units. Work with department heads on budgeting, forecasting, and spend analysis. Provide regular financial reports and variance analysis. Support cost control initiatives and improve inventory management. Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and sales teams to drive efficiency. Contribute to new product development from a financial perspective. Manage stock control processes and reporting. Assist with audits and improve financial systems and reporting tools. Support the rollout of finance reporting software. What We're Looking For Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA). Experience in a finance role with a focus on stock and inventory. Strong analytical and communication skills. Experience working in a manufacturing or product-based environment is preferred. Ability to lead and develop a small team.
