Environmental Consultant

Environmental Consultant- 12 Month Contract - Based in Teesside Our Client has a requirement for an Environmental Consultant, who will be required to work on a Contract basis in Teesside . Contract length: Initially 12 Months IR35 status: Outside IR35 Rate : Negotiable dependent on experience Purpose of the position: As Environmental Coordinator you will be part of the Health, Safety and Environmental department. You will implement HSE environment management systems in an operational context following the Company HSE guidelines and standards. Responsibilities: Implement construction environmental management plan for onshore and offshore activities Review and monitor Subcontractor compliance to environmental requirements Management of site environmental issues Coordinate and communicate with environmental agency, local authorities, internal company’s departments and relevant external stakeholders Perform project environmental activities such as completing ENVID, Environmental Plans, Environmental Reporting including data analysis and Environmental Investigations Complete onsite activities such as audits, training, regular inspections and produce reports and data What are we looking for? Education: BEng or BSc in engineering with majoring in environmental or similar Experience: 5-8 years in offshore and onshore projects ISO 140001 Lead Auditor What we can offer to you: Contractor role, full time Outside IR35 Working model: onsite, some traveling to the London area will be required Location: Teesside (and occasionally in London) Start date: ASAP
