Steel Design Manager

An established architectural metalwork company is seeking a Design Manager to oversee a team of five designers. This is a permanent, full-time, in-office position offering a salary of £70,000, with an immediate start available. Hours : Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm Salary : £70,000 Responsibilities: Manage and mentor a team of five in-house designers Oversee all stages of the design process for bespoke architectural metalwork projects Collaborate with fabrication and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution Liaise with clients and stakeholders to align on design specifications and requirements Ensure design accuracy using point cloud data from 3D scanning (preferred but not essential) Requirements: Extensive experience in architectural metalwork design Strong proficiency in TEKLA software Proven leadership and team management skills Must be local or within a reasonable daily commute Interested applicants are invited to apply by sending their most up-to-date CV.
