Network Security Engineer

URGENT HIRE: Network Security Engineer – Start 2 June – Hybrid – Surrey We’re seeking a proactive Network Security Engineer to join our team on a hybrid basis (3 days in our Surrey office, 2 days remote) starting Monday, 2 June . Rate: Up to £300 per day Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage network security solutions (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS) Monitor and respond to security incidents, perform root‑cause analysis Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and best practices Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to integrate security controls What You’ll Bring: Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer or similar role Strong hands‑on skills with Cisco/Juniper firewalls, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or equivalent Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure) and secure network design Certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, or CISM are highly desirable Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills Why Join Us?
