Job Description

Job Summary : The Continuous Improvement (CI) Coordinator will be responsible for supporting and driving continuous improvement activities at the manufacturing site. This role involves facilitating CI projects aimed at improving Kaizen, quality, and financial performance. The CI Coordinator will also contribute to the execution of the site's CI strategy and goals, overseeing high-impact projects and ensuring the successful completion of assigned initiatives. Key Responsibilities : Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects to enhance production efficiency, quality, and financial performance. Support and contribute to the site's overall CI strategy, aligning with plant goals and initiatives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities and drive high-impact projects to completion. Facilitate Kaizen events, implement Lean Manufacturing tools, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Utilize problem-solving techniques such as Root Cause Analysis to address operational challenges and drive sustainable solutions. Monitor project progress, ensuring timely completion and achievement of desired outcomes. Provide guidance on lean methodologies such as Six Sigma, Kanban, and Kaizen, fostering a culture of operational excellence. Required Profile : Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field (required). Experience : At least 5 years of experience as a CI Engineer, with a proven track record of leading high-impact improvement projects in a manufacturing environment. Solid understanding of manufacturing concepts, including capacity, preventive maintenance, tooling, validation, and troubleshooting. Skills and Knowledge : Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools and methodologies, including Six Sigma, Kaizen events, Kanban, and other CI practices. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Strong problem-solving and Root Cause Analysis skills. Leadership and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and manage people effectively. Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English, both written and verbal. Ability to lead and motivate teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Competencies : Leadership and people management. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
