Supplier Development Engineer

This role is responsible for assessment and development performance of the assignment suppliers, applying Lean Manufacturing Principles including Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Run @ Rate Evaluations, Transformation Plan, Root Cause/ Counter Measure (RCCM) and Project Charter (A3), Eight Disciplines (8D), on automotive normative and requirements. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering areas At least 5 years of experience in supplier development and assessment quality processes in an automotive industry environment Strong knowledge and experience in quality systems such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and CQI’s (Special assessments) Knowledge (documented) of Core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA and SPC) Knowledge of IMDS Knowledge of GD&T High knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles to the Supply Chain / Suppliers including Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Transformation Plan, Root Cause/ Counter Measure (RCCM) and Project Charter (A3), Eight Disciplines (8D) Excellent critical and analytical thinking, verbal and written communication skills, listening, interpersonal, consensus building and facilitation skills. Advanced language skills in English Good skills in computer aptitude, especially Excel, Visio, Power BI, Word and PowerPoint Valid Visa and passport
