POSITION SUMMARY Owens & Minor delivers significant and sustained value across the breadth of the Healthcare industry – from acute care to patients in their homes, Through Apria & Byram Healthcare. Our innovative company is looking to fill the role of Senior Developer, Pega Systems. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Strong application debugging skill – Proficient with Pega Log Analyzer, DB Trace, PAL etc. Preferred hands-on experience with PDC and Splunk. Responsible for bug fixing and development of critical maintenance related enhancements Responsible for application health checks and system health monitoring Provides estimates for defect resolution and user story development Strong understanding of integration components – SOAP, REST, MQ/JMS Listeners, File/Email Listeners etc. Collaborate with End users, Service Management Team, Business Analysts, existing application teams, Development Teams or external vendors to analyze and resolve issues and enhancements. Ability to have a quick-turnaround and deep triaging and troubleshooting attitude to address end user’s concerns and critical incidents Focus on SLA adherence, has hands-on experience on ITSM processes and drive problem management initiatives Perform Coding and unit testing Debugging of Pega Alerts and Exceptions and coming up with analysis to resolve the same Support regular Pega deployment and releases Work with Development/Project team to receive and understand timely release KT Maintain and respond to On-Call Schedule Work with end user to resolve tickets on day-to-day basis SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Work in Rotational Shifts, flexible with work timings, On-call responsibilities. Performs additional duties as directed. Qualifications EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor/master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field 5 years of experience in supporting implementing / developing Pega solutions including enterprise scale solutions Ability to define and enforce best practices in PEGA design/coding. Programming language familiarity with C, C++, Java, J2E, HTML, JavaScript Theoretical and hands-on experience in writing basic PL/SQL DB queries Pega CSSA certification in 8.X or above Working in Agile/Scrum methodology and hands-on ITSM process knowledge Pega HealthCare experience is preferred Pega Robotics and Pega Cloud experience is preferred Ability to collaborate with diverse remote teams, managing through a matrix structure and takes ownership for resolving business critical problems and permanent solutioning Strong problem-solving skills and able to drive incidents communication and continuous engagement with affected Users & business stakeholders.
