Lead Mechanical Engineer

Senior Mechanical Engineer A leading provider of advanced electrification and energy conversion systems is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join its high-performance engineering team. You’ll contribute to the design and development of large rotating electrical machines used in mission-critical applications across Energy, Marine, and Industrial sectors. Key Responsibilities: Lead the mechanical design, analysis, and optimisation [rotating machines. Apply FEA tools to evaluate stress, fatigue, vibration, and noise. Engage with project leads, clients, and manufacturing teams to align designs with functional and operational goals. Ensure designs align with project specifications, standards, and customer requirements. Investigate and integrate advanced materials and technologies to improve performance and cost-efficiency. What We're Looking For: Eligible for UK SC. Degree in Mechanical Engineering with around 10 years of industry experience. Proficiency in mechanical FEA tools (ANSYS/Workbench), with strong understanding of stress/fatigue principles. Knowledge of electrical machines and associated manufacturing processes. Familiarity with industry standards (ISO, IEC, BS EN) and engineering documentation tools (Teamcenter, SAP).
