Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Glasgow Salary: Competitive, based on experience Type: Full-Time | Permanent Join a Leading Main Contractor and Build Your Future with Them Construction & Civils Solutions Ltd are working with a well known Tier one contractor who are looking to add a Quantity Surveyor to their team in the West of Scotland. Are you a skilled Quantity Surveyor looking for your next challenge? We’re a reputable and forward-thinking main contractor with a strong pipeline of diverse and exciting projects across education, health care and commercial sectors in the West of Scotland. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. What You’ll Do: Manage all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects, from initial estimates to final accounts. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver successful outcomes. Ensure projects are completed within budget and provide value for money. Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities. Monitor project progress and keep accurate records of variations and contractual issues. Identify commercial risks and implement mitigation strategies. Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with a main contractor. Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Strong knowledge of construction methods and industry regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Proficient in the use of relevant software (e.g., MS Excel, CostX, Bluebeam, etc.). Ability to manage multiple projects and work to tight deadlines.
