Principal Firmware Engineer

Location: Milton Keynes Employment Type: Full time, hybrid, 3:2 Industry: Automotive / Motorsports / Aerospace / Defence Salary: £70,000 - £95,000 benefits We are currently working on a really exciting Principal Firmware Engineer opportunity with a client in the Automotive, Defence, and Aerospace sectors. You will be a subject matter expert, leading all Embedded Software Development and BSW area work, whilst guiding and mentoring a talented team of engineers around you. It’s a fantastic opportunity to shape architecture and drive innovation at the core of their tech roadmap, work on impactful projects, whilst mentoring and helping a team around you. What we're looking for: Subject matter expert in Embedded C (and MISRA C) Solid experience with AUTOSAR, BSW, and MCAL Experience working on inverters and motors Proven leadership in firmware or embedded teams Knowledge of V-cycle development, functional safety and ideally ASPICE environments The company has excellent benefits, offers a relocation package, and the chance to work on meaningful, challenging projects.
