Project Manager - Solar EPC

Job Title: Project Manager – EPC Solar Projects Location: Northamptonshire Type: Permanent Salary: [£70,000 - £80,000 Sector: Renewable Energy – Solar PV About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of utility-scale solar PV projects through the full EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) lifecycle. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. Key Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end delivery of solar PV projects from development handover through to commissioning and handover to operations Oversee all aspects of EPC execution, including engineering design reviews, procurement coordination, and construction management Liaise with internal teams, external contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution Monitor project budgets, schedules, and progress, ensuring milestones and KPIs are achieved Lead risk assessments, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure full compliance with HSE regulations Report regularly on project status to senior management and stakeholders Foster a culture of safety, quality, and performance excellence on-site and across teams Requirements: Proven experience delivering solar EPC projects , ideally utility-scale Strong knowledge of engineering, procurement, and construction practices within the renewable energy sector Excellent project planning, budgeting, and reporting skills Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and interface with clients and contractors Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills Familiarity with relevant HSE legislation and best practices [Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred] Willingness to travel to project sites as required What’s on Offer: Opportunity to work on cutting-edge renewable energy projects Dynamic and supportive team environment Competitive salary and benefits package Career progression within a fast-growing sector
