Job Description - Executive Director, Team Lead, Relationship Management, Financial Institutions Group, Institutional Banking Group (WD73957) Business Function DBS Institutional Banking Group provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans, and foreign exchange. DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region through account relationship management, service differentiation, product development, and rigorous credit standards. The Global Banks / Private Banks team performs relationship coverage for client groups across North America, Latin America, Europe, Japan, and Africa. The team collaborates with product teams to offer a comprehensive suite of wholesale banking products and services, including cash management, current accounts, trade finance, custody services, foreign exchange/derivative products, investment banking (ECM and DCM), structured products, and financing solutions. The team seeks new opportunities with existing and new clients and markets. Responsibilities Lead the Global Banks and Private Banks team in relationship management and business growth within this segment. Identify and capitalize on industry trends and opportunities, focusing on Asia Pacific markets, considering bankability, regulatory frameworks, and competitive advantages. Develop strategic initiatives and priorities for the segment. Communicate strategic initiatives across key geographies within DBS. Increase industry wallet revenue through targeted account planning for existing and prospective clients. Collaborate with local FIG teams to identify and grow revenue, scaling successful strategies across markets. Ensure compliance with bank policies and maintain portfolio losses at zero by applying sound credit risk measures in partnership with credit management teams. Engage with clients at all levels to discover opportunities and ensure effective execution. Requirements Bachelor's Degree with 15-20 years of relevant experience; prior experience in bank coverage is preferred. Strong knowledge of financial solutions and products, especially in regional business and cross-geography connectivity. Robust credit and financial knowledge, familiar with global banking operations. Confidence in pitching solutions to senior clients. Resourceful leader capable of growing business and developing team members' professional goals.
