Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: The integration engineer is responsible for defining the hardware and the data transfer methods between the tools and the internal databases of the Monterrey plant, using any necessary communication protocols. This ensures the standardization of the tools to be used and facilitates the work of software engineers in collecting and storing this information. RESPONSIBILITIES Define hardware to collect data from sensors, measurement instruments, tools and cameras. Define communication standards between hardware to databases Monitoring hardware of analytics system Configure communication between databases to quality systems. Use data collected to trigger signals to VX, Printers and Andon QUALIFICATIONS BS in Mechatronics Engineering or a similar field. TCP/IP – Open protocol Integration knowledge Sensor and instrumentation knowledge .NET Django Tailwind CSS JavaScript PLC LAN Modbus REST APIs SQL Server GitLab Python OpenCV* Keras* Ignition* TensorFlow* PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS The role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility, requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams. Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols. The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer. Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits. Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting. TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED Travel to different office or plant locations, supplier sites, or industry conferences may be necessary. A valid Mexican passport and a U.S. visa are required for international travel.
