Job Description

Our exclusive client, based in Chorley are currently recruiting for a purchase ledger clerk to join their busy finance team. You will be one of two people within the purchase ledger department ensuring suppliers are paid within agreed timescales. AAT study will be offered should the candidate be interested. Duties include: Maintaining all aspects of purchase ledger and liaising with suppliers Ensure correct authorisation and coding of purchase invoices Reconciling supplier statements Ensuring suppliers are paid according to agreed terms Process employee expenses Weekly payment runs/month end reports/CIS statements Any additional duties required within the team Ideally the candidate will have worked within a finance team within the past, ideally within purchase ledger. You will be a confident communicator, be accurate and have a friendly approach to work. In return, you will receive a competitive salary and an option to study AAT (should you wish to) holidays that start at 20 days plus bank holidays and raising to 25, pension and free on site parking.
