Continuous Improvement Manager

Continuous Improvement Manager Description: This position is focused on deployment of NEX-5 (Internal Lean Methodology) , the MOEN global strategy and process for creating a continuous improvement culture, including 3Q6S lean tools, lean principles, lean implementation techniques, and building disciplines to sustain operational excellence. This role requires influential leadership skills and the ability to work with all levels of the organization. Responsibilities: • Facilitate the deployment of the MOEN NEX-5 process to achieve sustained operational excellence. • Deploy the 4-step CI process and Daily Management System using the 3Q6S tools. • Achieve Lean Tool Expert certifications in all of the 3Q6S lean tools. • Facilitate all types of Kaizen events, ensuring proper pre-work, meeting the improvement objectives, and proper DMS follow up to ensure sustainment. • Drive and facilitate lean tool certifications within the site, developing capable CI leaders. • Meet targets for lead time reduction and manufacturing cost-out. Requirements: • Education : Industrial and Systems Eng, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or similar • Experience: 6 years in similar activities in Continuous Improvement and at least 2 years leading groups • Language: English CEFR C1, TOEFL 650, or similar/higher levels of proficiency • Tools and principles of Lean Manufacturing including VSM, SW (tools and forms), Set-Up-Reduction, 6S, TPM, Problem Solving, Lean Material Flow. • Operations daily management. • Planning strategies and systems. • Advanced in Excel • Some travel. Up to date US VISA and Passport. Skills: • Ability to teach and present. • Analytical skills and problem solving. • Collaborative style of management and interaction. • Change management, working with difficult people.
