Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) £43,000 Company Van Call-Out Bonus Location: Static Site – Luton (LU3) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Call-Out: 1 in 5 rota | £150 standby allowance About the Role We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to join our on-site facilities team at a high-profile pharmaceutical office site in Luton. This is a static role in a clean, modern, and professional environment—perfect for someone seeking a stable, long-term position. You’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of building systems, carrying out both planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across the site. Key Responsibilities * Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive mechanical works * Supporting HVAC systems, pumps, valves, and general plant equipment * Minor plumbing tasks and general building services support * Liaising with contractors and supporting the wider on-site FM team What You’ll Need * Recognised mechanical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds) * Experience working within commercial building maintenance * Solid fault-finding skills and a proactive, solutions-focused attitude What’s on Offer * £43,000 annual salary * Company van provided * Call-out rota (1 in 5) with £150 standby allowance * Monday to Friday schedule – no weekends * Long-term contract stability on a clean and professional site * Supportive team and opportunities for further training Ready to make your next move?
