Mission This role mainly focuses on providing Owner's Engineering Services and Independent Engineering Services related to BESS and renewable energy projects within Italy and Southeast Europe. You will be expected to travel approximately 10% of your time. Key Accountabilities Review of resource availability studies (wind and solar), technology studies, structural studies; review of electrical design projects, contractual documentation, and environmental studies; review of permitting, health & safety reports, grid offers, and connection agreements; Execution of feasibility studies as well as preliminary design of BESS and renewable power plants; Project Management activities, such as proactive communication with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders; Support in the preparation of proposals and reports; Support in the preparation and management of tendering, negotiation, and selection of contractors and key component providers; Support in the preparation and management of BoP, O&M, or EPC planning conditions and contracts discharges; Conducting on-site visit inspections and producing reports. Qualifications & Experiences Having an electrical engineering background or experience in electrical design is advantageous, especially if gained in an Engineering & Consultancy Company or EPC Contractor; Proficiency with AutoCAD and PVcase; Over 8 years of renewable energy experience in solar PV or wind, with at least 2 years in BESS; Experience with renewable permitting processes is advantageous; Previous experience working for an Engineering & Consultancy Firm or EPC Contractor is beneficial; Excellent written and spoken English is essential. LI-MT3 Education Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Management Engineering.
