Role : CPQ Commerce Developer. Location : Chennai. Hybrid Position. Exp : 5 Years. Responsibilities : - Participate in the design and architecture of CPQ solutions on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical best practices. - Configure and customize the Salesforce CPQ (formerly SteelBrick) platform, including product rules, pricing rules, discount schedules, quote templates, and other CPQ functionalities. - Develop custom solutions using Apex classes, triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) to extend the standard CPQ functionality and meet specific business requirements. - Design and develop integrations between CPQ Commerce Cloud and other enterprise systems, such as CRM, ERP, and billing systems, using REST and SOAP APIs. - Understand and work with the CPQ data model, ensuring data integrity and efficient data management practices. - Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and system tests to ensure the quality and reliability of CPQ solutions. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. - - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks within the CPQ implementation, ensuring optimal system responsiveness and scalability. - Provide technical support for CPQ-related issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions. - Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for CPQ configurations, customizations, and integrations. - Collaborate effectively with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical expertise, and communicate project status and timelines. - Keep abreast of the latest features, functionalities, and updates within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud and CPQ platforms. - Participate actively in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Requirements : - Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). - Experience : 5 years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing CPQ solutions, preferably on the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform (formerly Demandware/Salesforce B2C Commerce). - - Salesforce CPQ Expertise : Deep understanding of Salesforce CPQ functionalities, including product configuration, pricing rules, discount management, quoting processes, and contract lifecycle management. - Strong proficiency in Apex programming language and experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) for custom development within the Salesforce ecosystem. - Proven experience in integrating Salesforce Commerce Cloud and CPQ with other enterprise systems using REST and SOAP APIs. - Good understanding of data modeling principles and experience working with complex data structures, particularly within the CPQ context. - Experience with unit testing frameworks and proficient in debugging and troubleshooting issues within the Salesforce platform. - Version Control : Familiarity with version control systems like Git. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. - - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. - Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment. - Nice-to-Have : - Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification or other relevant Salesforce certifications. - Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2C Commerce) development beyond CPQ. - Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes for Salesforce. - Knowledge of order management and billing processes. - Experience working in an Agile development environment.
