European Projects & Innovation Strategy Manager - Robotics & AI Start-up (THEKER)

We are looking for a proactive and versatile European Projects & Innovation Strategy Manager to lead our efforts in public funding, IP strategy, and certification processes. Your role: Drive and manage EU-funded projects (e.g., Horizon Europe) Identify and apply for relevant public and private funding opportunities Develop and execute IP strategies (patents, freedom to operate, licensing) Coordinate certification processes for robotic and hardware systems Work cross-functionally with R&D, engineering, and business development teams Help shape THEKER’s innovation roadmap within the European ecosystem Requisites: Proven experience in managing European R&D or innovation projects Basic technical knowledge in robotics, engineering, or deep tech environments Understanding of public funding mechanisms and proposal development Knowledge of intellectual property and certification pathways Fluent English (spoken and written) – comfortable leading meetings and writing proposals at a European level Spanish or Catalan is a plus Based in or willing to relocate to Barcelona – this is an on-site position What we offer: Join a mission-driven deep tech startup shaping the future of robotics Full-time, on-site role in Barcelona – no remote work Work alongside a dynamic team of engineers and innovators A key role in scaling our strategic innovation roadmap
