Packaging Technologist

As a Packaging Technologist , you’ll play a vital role in the development and delivery of innovative, functional, and sustainable packaging. You’ll work cross-functionally with NPD, Marketing, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams, ensuring packaging solutions meet aesthetic, functional, and environmental expectations. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver new packaging solutions from concept through to launch. Ensure packaging is fit for purpose, aligned with brand values, and compliant with regulatory and sustainability standards. Conduct technical assessments and line trials for compatibility, functionality, and performance. Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and ensure quality standards. Continuously improve existing packaging in terms of cost, sustainability, and user experience. Support project timelines, risk assessments, and technical documentation. What We're Looking For Degree or equivalent in Packaging, Engineering, or a related field. 2 years’ experience in a packaging role within FMCG – ideally beauty, personal care, or cosmetics. Strong knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and sustainability practices. Excellent communication and project management skills.
