Senior Cloud Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline

Job Description : The Senior Cloud Engineer will be a key member of the local India team, acting as both a technical leader and a supervisor. Reporting to the Product Owner of the Cloud Team, this role combines deep technical expertise with team leadership to drive the achievement of KION's cloud infrastructure objectives. Key Responsibilities : - Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure tailored to business and operational requirements. - Lead the local India team of cloud engineers, fostering collaboration, mentorship, and professional growth. - Develop strategies for cost optimization and budget control to maximize efficiency in cloud operations. - Implement security best practices and policies to protect workloads and ensure compliance with organizational standards. - Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and quick issue resolution. - Automate infrastructure deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for scalability and consistency. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall system architecture and integrate innovative solutions. - Adhere to and promote the principles of scaled agile methodology, participating in daily standups, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies. - Take ownership of team results, proactively supporting other team members in delivering the committed backlog. - Follow and advocate for established development guidelines, tools, and processes to ensure quality and consistency. Qualifications : - Education : Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science) or a related field. Experience : - 10 years of experience in cloud infrastructure with at least 5 years in a senior or architect role. - Demonstrated experience leading teams in agile, cross-functional environments. - Expertise in enterprise-grade cloud solutions, preferably on Azure. Technical Expertise : - Certified in Azure (Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator, Azure Security Engineer). - Hands-on experience with AKS. - Proficiency in Terraform, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), and automation tools. - Deep understanding of network architecture, security, and cloud governance. Leadership & Communication Skills : - Proven ability to lead teams, and drive collaboration. - Professional proficiency in English. - Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with other teams, ensuring successful project implementation.
