Responsibilities : - Develop and implement new WordPress websites and applications based on project requirements and design specifications. - Possess an in-depth understanding of WordPress themes and plugins, including their implementation, customization, and development from scratch when necessary. - Utilize strong PHP skills to develop custom functionalities, integrate with third-party services, and build robust back-end solutions for WordPress sites. - Identify and implement strategies to significantly improve WordPress website performance, including optimizing database queries, caching mechanisms, and code efficiency. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand website functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Implement best practices for content structuring within WordPress and write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. - Apply a good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery, to ensure seamless integration and optimal user interfaces. - Utilize code versioning tools (e.g., Git) for effective collaboration and management of codebase changes. - Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks within WordPress Keep abreast of the latest WordPress updates, security patches, and emerging development : - Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a WordPress Developer. - Strong proficiency in PHP back-end development principles and best practices. - In-depth understanding of WordPress architecture, core functionalities, theme and plugin development, and implementation. - Extensive experience in improving WordPress website performance and scalability. - Proven ability to analyze website functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Solid experience in content structuring within WordPress and implementing code optimization techniques. - Good working knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. - Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git. - Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills. - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality Qualifications : - Experience with specific WordPress frameworks or libraries (e.g., ACF Pro, WP-CLI). - Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL). - Experience with RESTful API development and integration. - Understanding of web security best practices. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
