About ADF Health Services In partnership with Bupa, our ADF Health Services team provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. This includes providing defence-ready clinical and support staff across 40 on-base locations, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care. Make a real impact supporting Australia’s Defence personnel Join Serco’s ADF Health Services team as a Medical Officer / General Practitioner and provide high-quality medical care to Defence members. You’ll work in a modern, well-equipped facility alongside a supportive, multidisciplinary team. About Amberley Health Centre RAAF Base Amberley, the largest Air Force Base in Australia and approximately 50 minutes from Brisbane city. It provides operational and maintenance support for the precision strike element of the Air Combat Group, F/A-18F Super Hornet aircraft. Supports the strategic lift capability for the Australian military’s KC-30A Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT), C-17 Globemaster III heavy lift aircraft and C-27J Spartan battlefield airlifters. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health and pharmaceutical services to over 6500 RAAF members. The standard operating hours of the centre are generally 0700-1630 Monday – Thursday (depending on role requirements), and a half day (5.5 hours) Friday. Your Impact We are seeking a Medical Officer / General Practitioner to join us in a permanent part time capacity. As a Medical Officer , you will: Deliver primary medical care in line with professional standards and Defence policies Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to support Defence personnel Assess fitness for duty and provide pre/post-deployment medical support Provide medical technical advice to Defence leadership Work across outpatient and inpatient care settings as needed What You’ll Need Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner FRACGP, FACRRM, or Vocational Registration Minimum 2 years’ full time (or part time equivalent) GP experience in the last 5 years Australian Citizen – for Baseline Security Clearance requirements Why Join Us?
