HVAC Engineer

Job Title: HVAC Engineer (Static Site – Contract Role) Location: Wimbledon Rate: Up to £25 per hour (Limited Company or Umbrella) We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management company on a contract basis, working on a static site in Wimbledon. This role involves maintaining and repairing HVAC systems across the depot and trains, ensuring efficient performance and minimal downtime. Contract Details: * Hourly rate: Up to £25 per hour * Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM * Location: Static site – no travel required * Long-term contract available Key Responsibilities: * Service, maintain, and repair HVAC systems on both trains and within depot facilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive tasks * Fault-finding and diagnostics on AC, ventilation, and heating systems * Ensure all work complies with health & safety and F-Gas regulations * Liaise with on-site teams and contractors to ensure smooth operations Requirements: * HVAC qualification (NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds, or equivalent) * F-Gas certification (essential) * Proven experience working on commercial HVAC systems * Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills * Ability to work independently and take initiative This is a great opportunity for a self-employed engineer or contractor seeking a steady, well-paid role with consistent hours on a single site
