Experienced Control Systems Engineer who is driven and self-motivated urgently required to join a skilled engineering team within a business who are at the forefront of innovative Marine Engineering. Control Systems Engineer - The Role: Control systems design & implementation of large marine systems Work with vessel manufacturers to provide installation guidance and vessel specific system variants Work with ATEX rated installations to ensure compliance and safety in hazardous environments Utilize Beckhoff with Structured Text language Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to integrate control systems into cutting-edge marine technology solutions Provide guidance and support throughout the project life cycle, from initial concept to final implementation, ensuring technical excellence throughout Control Systems Engineer - The Person: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Master’s degree preferred Experience of marine or machinery based industrial control systems Understanding of the complexities and challenges in the marine sector is hugely beneficial but not essential Experience in ATEX/IEC-Ex rated installations is desired Proficiency with Beckhoff is desired Prefer ability to programme with Structured Text Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail Must be experienced taking projects through their entire life cycle including commissioning and documentation You will join a business who are keen to succeed with a focus on providing a supportive environment for all employees.
