DevOps Engineer

Halian Technology is seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer for a permanent position with pioneering, industry-leading Medtech organization. We are looking for a UK-based professional with a strong background in DevOps and cloud infrastructure to support the delivery and management of a next-generation SaaS-based Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system for the NHS. Join our client in ensuring secure, scalable, and highly available deployments that support healthcare services 24/7. Key Requirements: Proven experience currently working as a DevOps Engineer in production environments Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes, Linux, and Bash scripting Solid experience managing large MySQL database instances Proficient with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, OpenStack) Familiarity with DevOps and IaC tools such as Terraform, ArgoCD, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines Strong focus on security best practices, user access control, and GDPR compliance Capable of designing, testing, and executing backup and recovery plans Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Elasticsearch, and Graylog Location: Based in Reading - Hybrid Salary: £80,000£85,000 depending on experience bonus private medical care Please note you must be UK-based/have the right to work in the UK to be considered for this position ADZN1_UKTJ
