Excellent opportunity for an experienced trainer/teacher/lecturer to take responsibility of a brand new tooling academy working with mechanical engineering apprentices overseeing their journey and ensuring the provision of relevant curriculum. Working for one of the UK's leading training and apprenticeship businesses, you will be run the academy for a world renowned toolmaker. You will be given a blank canvas approach to design, develop and implement a curriculum of training , workshops focused on experiential learning. This role combines the satisfaction of developing the next generation from an academic perspective, but in a cutting edge industrial setting. The ideal candidate will come from a mechanical engineering background (machining , toolmaking or similar) and possess the required level of hands on engineering skill to demonstrate the skills in question. You will also possess experience of teaching/training either in an industrial setting or as an engineering lecturer.
