HVAC Engineer Rolling Contract Based in Coleshill Birmingham £25 - 27 per hour Responsibilities: - Develop and design heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems tailored for rail infrastructure, ensuring they meet project specifications and client requirements - Oversee the implementation of HVAC systems, coordinating with other engineering teams and contractors to ensure timely and efficient project completion - Ensure all HVAC systems comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices - Provide technical expertise and support during the installation and commissioning phases, troubleshooting any issues that arise - Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents, and maintain comprehensive records of all project activities Qualifications: - A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is typically required - Previous experience in HVAC engineering, particularly in large-scale projects, is highly valued - Proficiency in design tools (e.g., AutoCAD), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and familiarity with HVAC and control systems Skills: - In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and their integration within rail projects - Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders and ensure clear, effective collaboration - Strong organizational skills to manage multiple aspects of the project simultaneously
