Section Engineer

Our client, a leader in the HTP sector, is currently seeking a Section Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves working on a major highway project and is an exciting opportunity for professionals with experience in highway engineering. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing engineering activities and ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards Planning and coordinating construction operations on the project Conducting site inspections and ensuring quality control of works Preparing progress reports and documentation Liaising with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders Identifying and resolving engineering issues and challenges Ensuring health and safety regulations are strictly followed on site Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site teams Job Requirements: Significant experience in highway engineering Strong understanding of HTP sector standards and practices Proficiency in overseeing construction operations and managing site activities Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Effective communication and team-working abilities Attention to detail and commitment to quality work Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience Additional Information: Location: Huntingdon Contract duration: 6 months Rate: £450/day PAYE Umbrella If you are a skilled Section Engineer with experience in highway projects and looking for a new contract opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
