Maintenance Engineer

Maintenance Engineer – 6am–2pm Shift | No Nights, No Weekends You're probably not short of options right now. Maintenance Engineers rarely are. But here's one that's not about chasing breakdowns all day and high-fiving each other for slapping a temporary fix on a problem that’ll be back next shift. This role’s about actually improving stuff. Reducing downtime. Saving money. Making machinery perform the way it was designed to. You know — what maintenance is supposed to be. The business? A small, family-feel food manufacturer that genuinely values its engineers. You won’t be just another name on a shift rota. You’ll be part of a close-knit team where your opinion counts and your ideas get listened to (and shock horror — sometimes even implemented). The shift? 6am–2pm. Monday to Friday. That’s it. No lates. No nights. No weekends. Unless you really miss the romance of 2am call-outs, this should be music to your ears. What they need: You’ll ideally come from a food or FMCG background. We're looking for an electrically biased engineer (don't need to be a PLC wizard, but some fault finding experience would be great!) Most importantly, you’ll be someone who wants to fix and improve, not just react and reset.
