Senior Pricing Manager - London Market

We have partnered with a well-respected Commercial and Specialty insurance carrier to support the growth of their London Market Pricing team. Through their high-performing syndicate at Lloyd's, they work to insure businesses around the world for a variety of large-scale and complex risks, including cyber threats, A&H, marine, property, energy, liabilities, as well as treaty reinsurance. They are on the lookout for an experienced Qualified Actuary with a commercially-driven mindset and proven track-record in management roles to join as a Senior Pricing Manager, leading a team of 10 capable actuaries and analysts in the London Market. Their Pricing team is highly underwriter-driven, and this role will involve a blend of BAU pricing responsibilities, oversight of varied project work, as well as acting as an operational/strategic lead and mentor to more junior staff. Role Requirements: Qualified Pricing Actuary, through the IFoA, or equivalent. 8 years of experience in pricing. Prior experience working in London Market Pricing is preferred, but open to other Specialty/Commercial Lines, or Reinsurance backgrounds. Technical proficiency with programming languages, Actuarial software and tools (R, Python, Emblem etc.), and data visualisation tools (Tableau, PowerBI). Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience in leading and managing cross-functional projects. Experience managing and mentoring teams of actuaries and analysts.
