Job Title: Controls Engineer (Contract) Location: Northampton (Hybrid) Contract Length: 6 Months IR35 Status: Outside IR35 Start Date: ASAP Rate: Competitive (Outside IR35) Job Description: We are looking for a Controls Engineer to support a 6-month contract. You will be working on the commissioning of automated systems using Siemens S7 and TIA Portal. The role involves PLC programming, I/O testing, HMI configuration and commissioning of control systems used in warehouse automation or baggage handling. Key Requirements: * Strong experience with Siemens S7 and TIA Portal * Able to carry out PLC programming, I/O checks and HMI setup * Familiar with Profinet and other industrial networks * Experience in warehouse automation or material handling preferred * Must be able to work full-time on site in Northampton Apply now to join a fast-paced automation project and deliver real impact
