Finance Manager – High-Growth SME | South Manchester | Hybrid Ascent Recruitment is pleased to partner exclusively with a high-growth SME in South Manchester to appoint a commercially minded and ambitious Finance Manager. This broad role reports to an outstanding Finance Director and offers clear progression (to Financial Controller and equity), a brilliant culture, and hands-on involvement across a group of companies. You’ll lead a small finance team, deliver consolidated management accounts, and support both operational and commercial initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Own month-end and year-end reporting, including group consolidation and balance sheet reconciliations Produce MI packs, KPI analysis, budgets, and cash flow forecasts Maintain and enhance the control/reporting framework Partner with leadership teams to drive business planning and performance Evaluate acquisitions and investments, including financial modelling and due diligence Lead or support various strategic finance projects Manage a small team About You: ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified Highly organised, proactive, and driven Strong communicator with a commercial mindset SME experience Salary and Benefits: £60,000-£70,000 DOE Hybrid working 25 days, plus bank If you're ready to step into a dynamic, growth-focused finance role, apply now.
