Senior Health & Safety Advisor Kent Permanent £50,000 - £55,000 plus package Are you an experienced health & safety professional with knowledge of heavy civil engineering projects and seeking a new opportunity? I am currently working with a principal contractor that are seeking a Senior H&S Advisor to join the team to be based on a major project in Dartford. The ideal candidate will have major project experience within civil engineering and be a proactive and engaging H&S professional looking to continue growing their career. The Senior Health & Safety Advisor will be responsible for: Provide expert advice and guidance to the team and wider contractors Carry out site-based H&S audits and inspections Support and advise on the assessment and appointment of subcontractors Complete monthly reports for senior management, identifying any areas of concern and suggest improvement plans. Sharing health & safety best practices across the business Lead on accident investigations and near misses to identify root causes and implement improvement plans. Conduct risk assessments and method statements for sites when required. Promote a positive and proactive health & safety culture across all the business The Senior Health & Safety Advisor will have: 5 years of experience working in health & safety Previously worked on major projects in civil engineering NEBOSH Certificate or NEBOSH Construction Certificate Ideally working towards Diploma level, but not essential Happy to work in a site-based position Vacancy Owner: Phillip Muston | Phillip.muston@shirleyparsons.com
