Scope Akkodis is seeking a skilled Tooling Manager to join their team. This role will have direct responsibility for leading tooling operations, managing key client relationships, and ensuring project delivery aligns with agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Role The Tooling Manager will oversee day-to-day tooling operations, ensuring that resources are effectively coordinated to meet project requirements. The role demands a high level of client interaction, problem-solving capability, and leadership within an aerospace manufacturing environment. The candidate will be accountable for operational performance, customer satisfaction, and delivering results in line with financial expectations. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate all tooling-related operations and resources Maintain direct communication with clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality metrics across the tooling function Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution Identify potential project risks or delays and implement proactive mitigation strategies Support continuous improvement initiatives within tooling operations Required Experience Significant experience in tooling and manufacturing operations, preferably within the aerospace sector Previous involvement in Airbus projects or tooling for aerostructures would be highly advantageous Demonstrated ability to manage project financials, schedules, and quality standards in a client-facing role Proven experience of leadership within a dynamic, fast-paced environment Required Skills Strong interpersonal and client relationship management skills Excellent communication and coordination abilities Proactive problem-solving approach with a focus on delivery Ability to work independently and take ownership of operational outcomes Familiarity with aerospace tooling processes and best practices
