Welder | Blandford | £16 (depending on experience) Purpose In this welder role, you will join a team of experienced welders working on a comprehensive range of fabricated products for diverse industry sectors. Responsibilities As a welder, your duties will include: Performing MIG and TIG welding on various materials, such as stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate assemblies accurately. Preparing materials for welding, including cleaning and cutting, to ensure proper fit and finish. Setting up and operating welding equipment safely and efficiently. Background As a welder, you must have: A minimum of 12 months of experience in MIG welding is often expected. The ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, coupled with basic math skills and mechanical aptitude. Experience in measuring, cutting, and assembling metal components.
