About the Role: Are you a highly motivated and proactive individual with a passion for optimizing accounts payable processes? As our Senior Accounts Payable Analyst, you will be a key player in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our AP function. You will leverage your deep understanding of accounts payable, exceptional analytical skills, and proven leadership abilities to drive process improvements, resolve complex issues, and mentor our AP team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of our new indirect spending payment platform. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all processes and communication. Collaborate closely with internal departments to gather, analyze, and interpret financial data relevant to accounts payable. Proactively identify, investigate, and resolve payment discrepancies and other financial issues, ensuring timely and accurate resolution. Manage vendor inquiries effectively and maintain strong, positive relationships. Mentor, training and support the Accounts Payable team, providing guidance, training, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Establish and maintain robust relationships with our vendors, effectively addressing payment disputes and ensuring smooth transactions. Drive initiatives to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts payable processes, identifying and implementing best practices. Manage other financial processes as required. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role. Comprehensive understanding of accounts payable principles, practices, and procedures. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas and data analysis) and other relevant accounting software. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written English language skills. Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and contribute as a collaborative team member. Prior experience with Tipalti software and SAP is a significant advantage. Must be able to work in our Mexico office at least 2 days per week.
