Full Stack Developer - Node.js/NestJS

Job Description Position Overview : We are looking for a talented Full Stack Web Developer to join our Cruise Products Division. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in NestJS, Node.js, AngularJS, and the Ionic Framework, with a solid understanding of SQL databases. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our suite of cruise-related products, ensuring they remain at the cutting edge of the industry. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain web and mobile applications for our cruise products, including Deckpro.in, rwcruises.com, and rwcruisebuddy. - Manage and optimize SQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance. - Collaborate with the product and design teams to define, design, and ship new features that enhance the user experience. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using the specified technologies. - Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software to maintain high standards of performance and reliability. - Implement and maintain security best practices across all applications. - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members. - Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in web and mobile development, particularly within the cruise industry. - Document development processes, code changes, and feature implementations thoroughly. Requirements Qualifications : - Min 3yrs experience as a Full Stack Developer, particularly with NestJS, Node.js, AngularJS, and the Ionic Framework. - Strong proficiency in SQL, with experience in database design and optimization. - Experience in building and deploying mobile applications using the Ionic Framework. - Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services. - Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Experience with test-driven development (TDD). - Knowledge of security best practices in web and mobile development.
