Business Contribution: Provides advice and counsel, as well as general legal services to commercial leadership and the broader organization in EMEAI. Represents the company as needed to customers, suppliers, competitors, and government agencies. Resolves business or technical issues by identifying legal solutions and recommending courses of action. Maintains oversight and control of the regional legal budget and spend. Key Responsibilities: Ensure contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies. Monitor the contract process to assure compliance with contractual guidelines, customer specifications, and company policies. Advise the organization on employment law issues as required by HR and management, including contract terminations and restraint of trade enforcement. Advise on patent, copyright, or trademark matters. Examine legal data to assess risks associated with lawsuits. Monitor legal developments across the EMEAI region and support preparation for future legal changes. Appoint and liaise with outside legal counsel as needed. Provide legal advice on mergers and acquisitions. Support regional legal compliance activities. Manage legal entity maintenance and corporate secretarial activities. Support HSEQ functions to promote safety awareness and improvements. Willingness and ability to travel internationally. Represent the company professionally internally and externally, following policies and procedures, and prioritizing health and safety. Required Qualifications: Fully licensed and qualified attorney 5 years of experience as in-house legal counsel Significant experience across the EMEAI region Manufacturing/Industrial experience (preferred) J-18808-Ljbffr
