Production Supervisor Tamworth £40,000 - £45,000 per annum Monday – Friday 8.00am – 4.30pm Permanent role Arch Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for a dedicated and skilled Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing operations across 3 areas - press, machining and fabrication. Ideally, suitable candidates will have experience in all 3 areas. They will possess strong mechanical knowledge, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and safely. This role requires the ability to lead a team, manage resources effectively, and maintain high standards of quality. Role responsibilities – For the role of Production Supervisor, you will manage and mentor a team of shop floor personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Monitor, control, and review all aspects of manufacturing processes to meet despatch deadlines. You will co-ordinate with relevant internal departments to ensure the timely delivery of components for the role of Production Supervisor. Develop and implement new ideas, working methods, and production techniques. For the role of Production Supervisor, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and upgrading of production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Work closely with all personnel to ensure quality standards are attained across all production areas. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. Role requirements – Proven experience in a supervisory role withing a manufacturing setting is essential for the role of Production Supervisor. Qualification(s) in mechanical engineering or a minimum of 3 years’ experience within the steel or engineering industry. Confident in reading and interpreting engineering CAD drawings. A good level of computer literacy and numeracy skills is required for the role of Production Supervisor. Microsoft Excel conversant. For the role of Production Supervisor, you will have excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Familiarity with health & safety regulations and quality control standards.
