Maintenance Electrician

Position: Maintenance Electrician Location: Edinburgh Salary: £40,000 per annum Overtime Benefits Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm About the Role: We’re representing a leading facilities management provider in their search for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join their team in Edinburgh. Based on a prestigious energy sector site, you’ll play a key role in ensuring safe and reliable electrical operations across a large commercial facility. This is a great opportunity for a skilled electrician looking to join a well-structured and stable FM contract with long-term prospects and the backing of a respected industry leader. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance * Respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and complete repairs * Conduct periodic testing and inspections in line with current regulations * Assist with electrical installation work when required * Keep accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with health & safety policies * Work collaboratively with other on-site engineers and contractors What We’re Looking For: * Time-served Electrician with City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent * 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671) * Experience in a commercial or industrial FM environment * Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills * Good interpersonal and communication abilities * A proactive approach and strong commitment to safety What’s on Offer: * £39,000 salary regular overtime opportunities * 25 days holiday bank holidays * Pension scheme and other company benefits * Long-term role with training and development available How to Apply: If you’re an experienced Maintenance Electrician based in the Edinburgh area and looking for a rewarding new opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.
