CAD Technician MEP – (Building Services Design) Chelmsford, Essex £32k to £36k Excellent Benefits MEP / Building Services Design / Revit MEP / Consultancy / Revit Technician / Revit Coordinator / Revit Technician MEP / AutoCAD Technician This CAD Technician role is to join a busy, growing engineering consultancy, where you will be part of a close knit team of engineers working on a range of sectors including healthcare and commercial. It’s a team of conscientious engineers who have created a friendly supportive working environment, where you’ll feel at home from day one. The Role * The role will involve providing CAD Technician support to the M&E team. * Develop M&E scheme designs to detail design stage using Auto Cad working alongside mechanical and electrical design engineers. * Produce working drawing packages for tender and construction purposes to the required standard. * Follow industry drafting standards and ensure high-quality, accurate work. * Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to facilitate designs. * Assist in managing and organizing CAD files and project documentation. * Working directly with the engineers you will be able to manage & prioritise you own workload. The Person * At least 2 years’ experience of using AutoCAD and working in a Building Services Consultancy. * It’s expected that you will have at least a basic knowledge of Revit, maybe having taken a course or be self-taught as you will gradually undertake more Revit work over time. * Attention to detail. * A collaborative mindset with the ability to communicate effectively with team members * You must be able to work in the UK without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future
