Industrial Refrigeration Engineer – Glasgow Location: Edinburgh and surrounding areas Salary: £35,000 – £48,000 DOE Overtime On-Call Company Vehicle Hours: Full-time, Permanent Are you an experienced Industrial Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineer looking for your next challenge with a leading service provider? We’re working with a reputable company known for delivering first-class industrial refrigeration and cooling solutions across Scotland. The Role: You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding and repair of industrial refrigeration & AC systems across various client sites. Working with ammonia, CO₂ and other refrigerants, you'll ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operation of large-scale plant systems in environments such as food production, logistics, and manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on industrial refrigeration & air conditioning systems * Work with ammonia and CO₂ systems (training can be provided if required) * Conduct diagnostics and fault finding * Ensure compliance with F-Gas regulations and company H&S standards * Complete job reports and communicate effectively with clients and the office team * Participate in an on-call rota and respond to emergency breakdowns Requirements: * NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent) * F-Gas 2079 certification (essential) * Experience with industrial systems (ammonia/CO₂ advantageous) * Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently * Full UK Driving Licence Benefits: * Competitive salary with regular overtime and call-out pay (1-6) * Company vehicle fuel card & tools * Sick pay * Private medical scheme * Ongoing training & development (including ammonia & CO₂ qualifications) * Excellent support from a well-established, close-knit team * 26 days holiday bank holidays Apply today if you're a skilled engineer ready to take your career to the next level with a growing company that values technical expertise and a strong work ethic
