About the Role: Our client is seeking a Senior Planner to lead the planning function across multiple complex and high-profile projects. This is a strategic role where you’ll work closely with pre-construction and delivery teams, ensuring detailed and accurate programmes are developed, maintained, and delivered. You’ll play a key role in influencing project methodology, sequencing, and risk planning across logistically challenging London sites. This role is ideal for a Senior Planner who thrives in a technical environment and wants to make a tangible impact on major projects. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and manage detailed construction programmes (tender and delivery phases). * Work closely with project managers, site teams, and pre-construction to align methodologies. * Identify critical path activities, constraints, and risk mitigation strategies. * Contribute to logistics planning and site phasing for complex inner-city sites. * Use planning tools (e.g., Asta Powerproject, Primavera) to produce and update schedules. * Provide progress reports, forecasts, and what-if scenario analysis. * Participate in client meetings and represent the planning function with confidence. Skills & Requirements: Skills: * Strong planning and programming expertise. * Excellent understanding of construction methodology and sequencing. * Confident communicator with strong presentation and reporting skills. * Ability to analyse risks and resolve complex logistical challenges. Requirements: * Proven experience as a Senior Planner or Planner in a main contracting environment. * Experience on complex London-based projects – particularly hotel, residential, or commercial fit-out. * Proficient in Asta Powerproject (Primavera P6 experience also valuable). * Strong technical understanding of construction processes and buildability. * Degree or equivalent in construction-related field. * Understanding of BIM and digital planning tools (desirable).
