About the Role: As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you’ll support the commercial team across a wide range of projects, gaining hands-on experience in both traditional construction and specialist restoration. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in the preparation of tender documents and cost plans. * Support procurement and cost control of materials and subcontractors. * Help manage valuations, variations, and applications for payment. * Collaborate with project teams, site staff, and external consultants. * Support monthly cost reporting and maintain accurate records. * Gain exposure to both modern and traditional construction methods. Skills & Requirements: Skills: * Strong numerical and organisational skills. * Effective communication and teamwork. * Willingness to learn and take initiative. Requirements: * Degree (or studying towards) in Quantity Surveying or related construction field. * Previous industry experience (placement or post-graduate) preferred but not essential. * Interest in heritage, restoration, or high-end residential projects. * Competent with Microsoft Excel and QS software tools. * Right to work in the UK and willingness to travel to London-based sites.
