Job Title: Legionella Risk Assessor Location: Grays, Essex Salary/Benefits: £25k - £43k Training & Benefits Our client has a strong presence in the South East of England, and is seeking a switched-on and hardworking Legionella Risk Assessor to cover their busy portfolio of client sites. Prospective candidates will ideally have experience working with both domestic and process water systems and will be able to converse confidently regarding technical guidelines. Access to the M4 would be beneficial in order to access client sites easily. The successful candidate can expect a competitive basic salary as well as usual company benefits. The role will involve travel around: Grays, Tilbury, Hornchurch, Rainham, Harlow, St Albans, Hatfield, Ilford, Barking, Chigwell, Enfield, Potters Bar, Watford, Epping, Cheshunt, Basildon, Wickford, Erith, Dartford, Kingston upon Thames, Epsom, Sutton, Croydon, Bromley, Orpington, Gravesend, Bexleyheath, Caterham, Redhill, Oxted. Experience / Qualifications: - Must have a successful record working as a Legionella Risk Assessor, ideally within a Water Hygiene / Legionella company - Will be qualified with the City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing - It would support applications if candidates also held water hygiene / remedial experience, but this is not essential - Good literacy and numeracy skills - IT literate - Professional manner The Role: - Undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold as well as process systems (including cooling towers) - Producing detailed reports to outline risk assessment findings - Creating site-specific schematic drawings - Meeting with clients to discuss report contents and to make thorough recommendations - Ensuring to adhere to HSE and industry safety guidelines - Meeting personal targets and working to agreed deadlines - Supporting the training of new legionella risk assessors within the business Alternative job titles: Legionella Consultant, Water Hygiene Consultant, Water Hygiene Risk Assessor.
