This intermediate or senior mechanical engineer role is to be part of a building services design team delivering innovative and creative solutions. Project types range from healthcare, education, residential, commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, zero carbon and public sector. The culture of this consultancy is both supportive and collaborative, bringing together the very best elements of working for a large company, such as interesting projects of all scales b yet maintaining a close knit team Responsibilities * As an Intermediate / Senor Mechanical Engineer, you will be a vital part of the team and have a high degree of autonomy for your experience level, combined with support as needed. * Working as part of a larger team on certain projects * Attending meeting with clients and other construction professionals. * Helping generate repeat business through customer care of existing clients * Working on a variety of technically challenging and interesting projects across varied sectors * Producing drawings and specifications * Producing calculations or guiding others to complete them Experience & Qualifications * Ideally a degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, or HNC / HND with relevant design experience. * Ideally chartered or working towards * Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience of design in building services, post qualification completion * Experience of design software * Knowledge of British and European Standards, Building Regulations documents etc. * An enthusiasm to continue professional development
