Owen Daniels are supporting a leading Aerospace & Manufacturing business in recruiting for a Quality Inspector on a permanent basis.Salary: £35,000 p.a.Location:CheltenhamHours: Days, full time with early finish Fridays excellent benefits package.About the Company: Leading precision engineering company specialising in the manufacture of high-quality aerospace components. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of quality within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Role Overview: As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all components and assemblies meet strict aerospace quality standards. You will be inspecting precision-machined parts, utilising a range of measuring equipment, and working closely with the production and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Conduct dimensional and visual inspection of CNC-machined components Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, verniers, height gauges, CMM, and other inspection equipment Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Carry out in-process, first-off, final, and goods-in inspections Record and report non-conformances, assist with root cause analysis, and support corrective actions Ensure compliance with AS9100 and other aerospace quality standards Maintain accurate inspection documentation and quality records Support continuous improvement initiatives across the manufacturing process Requirements: Proven experience in a Quality Inspection role within a CNC machining or precision engineering environment Aerospace industry background preferred Strong knowledge of geometric tolerances, engineering drawings, and quality standards Proficient in the use of manual and digital measuring equipment Experience with CMM inspection (PC-DMIS or similar software advantageous) Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving Strong communication and teamwork skills Benefits: Competitive salary and overtime opportunities 25 days holiday bank holidays Company pension scheme Ongoing training and development Clean and modern working environment Opportunity to work with a forward-thinking and supportive team How to Apply: If you’re an experienced Quality Inspector with a machining background and a passion for precision, we want to hear from you.
